Dulse Vegetarian Pizza

Serves 4–6

Ingredients

12–inch pizza dough (available fresh and frozen at most pizzerias and natural food stores)
1 tsp to 1 Tbsp olive oil
3 cups tomato sauce
2 cups grated regular or soy mozzarella
1 1/3 cups chopped dulse
Assorted thinly chopped vegetables (broccoli, peppers, mushrooms, onions, garlic, olives and/or seitan)
Oregano, basil, and hot pepper to taste

Method

1. Preheat the oven to 425° F.

2. Lay the dough on a lightly oiled pizza pan.

3. Poke holes gently with a fork all over the dough.

4. Bake for 6 to 8 minutes.

5. Lift the bottom up with a fork, and when it is slightly brown, remove it from the oven.

6. Spread on the tomato sauce and half the cheese.

7. Next spread the dulse and your choice of vegetables and herbs on top, and cover with the rest of the mozzarella.

8. Bake for 10 to 20 minutes until the cheese is melted throughout.
