The "DLT": Dulse, Lettuce & Tomato Sandwich

Serves 1–2

Ingredients

Small handful of dry dulse
Lettuce
Tomato
Oil (olive or your favorite)

Optional: Mayonnaise (soy or regular)

Method

1. Pull dulse apart, remove any tiny shells, and pan fry in oiled pan until dulse crisps, turns color, and smells "bacony." Or bake at 300° F for 3 to 4 minutes on a lightly oiled tray.

2. Add to lettuce, tomato and mayo in sliced bread sandwich or pita pocket.

Tip

For less prep time, lightly rinse dulse and add to this or any veggie sandwich for a great taste and major mineral boost.
